It’s Black Music Appreciation Month, and Juneteenth is right around the corner. Today, we’re celebrating the legacy of Black music in America with the announcement of Soul Sessions—an upcoming immersive 3D concert series featuring intimate live music and interviews with Lucky Daye, Umi, and serpentwithfeet on Oculus TV and Venues in Horizon Worlds.

Hailing from the magical city of New Orleans, Grammy Award-winning artist Lucky Daye blesses us with a sweet, hypnotic performance laced with interview excerpts about what Black American culture means to him.

With over 116 million streams on Spotify, singer-songwriter Umi joins us for the next episode of Soul Sessions. Her laid back and intimate set will make you feel like you’re sitting right in front of her.

Finally, artist serpentwithfeet serenades us about romantic love, friendship, queerness, and more. His experimental style blends classical and gospel sounds to transport listeners to another world—or perhaps just his soulful and multifaceted hometown of Baltimore.

All three episodes will launch June 16, 2022, at 10:00 am PT on Oculus TV for the Quest Platform. If you prefer to watch them back-to-back in a social viewing environment, people 18+ in the US and Canada with a Meta Quest 2 can catch them playing in an Always On room in Venues in Horizon Worlds from 4:00 pm PT on June 16 to 11:59 pm PT on June 26.
